“Sam” held a pretty special place in our home. A simple, easy going outlook on life and challenges, he became our 2nd, 13 year old Rottweiler in our lives. Sam returned to us from an adverse life he had to endure for 2 years. The boy took it all in stride and with time and patience, earned his place and his performance titles starting at 3 years of age and his last one at 12 years of age. Sam and I went on to earn an ARC Select at our National at 12 years of age – his movement sound and never missed a piece of show bait. You can teach an old dog new tricks!!!
He was our “green boy” from our A litter and the last from our foundation dam “Quantum”. Longevity runs through his pedigree. He was “blessed” to be enrolled in Dr Waters’ Longevity Study in March, and honoured with a personal visit.
His journey with us was complete, his exit humble and simple with his family around him. Where his spirit takes him next, I hope I am privileged enough one day to “hear all about it”.
A day never goes by that we don’t think of you Sam………….
