I am sure we have all said at some point in our life……..this is not the right time for a puppy………Well, May of 2012 was that point in our life and Takoda made the trip back to our household. So much for looking for the right home for her and I was only going to “evaluate” her drives and temperament.

This was an exciting breeding and a much awaited litter for both Tim Peterson (Wynstone Rottweilers), Jim Runck ( Quickfire Rottweilers ) and myself. Ava had a tight COI (coefficient of inbreeding) in her pedigree, that the outcross breeding with “Hugo” from Blackwood Rottweilers, has given us exactly what we “wished” for in the litter of 5 boys and 1 girl !!!! Thanks goes out to Lew Olsen and Jeff Shaver for working with us and letting us incorporate Hugo into our program.

Her training has been a delight and it’s as if she knew where she belonged when she walked through the back door of our house. We look forward to the paw print she will make…………

Takoda’s Accomplishments:

Earns her CI Single and CI-T Team Title for carting at the ARC 2015 National Specialty
Earns her AM TD at the ARC 2015 National Specialty
Takoda takes a BOSS at the Mile High Rottweiler Club Specialty under judge Nancy C Russell Oct. 24, 2014.
August 22, 2014, Takoda earns an Award of Merit under judge, James Noe at the Northstar Independent Rottweiler Specialty.
August 25, 2013 ( 17 months ), Takoda once again went BOW for yet another major and finished her Amercian Championship.
Earned her HT herding title
Takoda has (as of June 2013) 9 points in the AKC ring and one of her majors – watch for her in the AKC ring this August.
Takoda finished her Canadian CH in June at the Edmonton shows. She was shown by myself to her CH ( 5 times in the ring ) going Winners Bitch every time and on the last day that we moved her up into the “Specials” she was given a “Select” and now has 2 points towards her GCH. She finished at 14 months.
