This was our “Elder Statesman”; Braun. He was fondly known as “Muttonhead” or “Bud” and lived to see his 13th birthday. Braun loved to compete in herding competitions, and even after his retirement, he still enjoyed an occasional trip out to the farm.

Braun received the first leg of his Herding Started title at the fall 1999 CDHA trial. In doing so, he was awarded Reserve High in Trial under AKC Judge Jim Buzzard.

Braun won first place  award at the American Rottweiler Clubs 2003 Veteran Sweepstakes.
