While in Colorado the past three months, Takoda was able to continue some of her tracking while pregnant and about 5 weeks afterwards. Thanks to Cindy Soloway and Bernie McDowell carting her and pup around to get some TDX tracking in October, Takoda and I were able to enter and pass “on our first go” her AKC TDX the second week in November. I couldn’t have even dreamed of this if it wasn’t for the “village of support” Takoda and I received during this time. Takoda’s work ethic and eagerness to work despite being on maternity leave, impressed me tenfold. Takoda has proven herself a worthy asset to the Maplemor Breeding Program and her future prodigy. It was only 7 months ago, that we got our TD title at the 2015 ARC National !!!! The sky is the limit with this girl and feeling very blessed this year…………
I was able to enter and get in to the Denver Foothills Tracking Association ( http://denverfoothillstrackingassociation.com )TDX test. It was an honour and pleasure to be surrounded by my tracking mentors/club members of this club. This club and their members “always” puts on A-1 events . A huge thank-you to the judges Jeff Shaver (TX) and Jane Jonas (C)) for judging this two day TDX test. It seemed like yesterday I was learning to track in those very same fields over 15 years ago Yikes!!!
